Courtney Cacatian
Courtney has led the Charlottesville Albemarle Convention and Visitors Bureau (CACVB) as the Executive Director since August 2019. Under her leadership, the CACVB has become a national leader in creating welcoming environments through destination stewardship. She has built bridges within the community to foster collaboration and craft Destination 2045, Charlottesville and Albemarle County’s first tourism master plan. Through her team’s efforts, Charlottesville was recognized in 2023 by Wine Enthusiast with a Wine Star award as the Wine Region of the Year. Her work has been recognized with a U.S. Travel Association’s Destiny Award and HSMAI Adrian Award for Discover Black Cville and as a Destiny Award finalist for the Monticello Wine Trail. She received the George Washington University Master’s of Tourism Administration Alumni Award for Social Impact. She is the author of The Future of Destination Organizations: A Guide to a Community-based Welcome, which outlines the process for how the CACVB became the pilot for Destinations International’s Tourism for All program. Prior to coming to the CACVB, Courtney served as the Executive Director of Discover Bristol TN/VA and the Marketing Director for the Arlington Virginia Convention and Visitors Service.

Season Roberts has established herself as a successful Public Relations and Community Engagement practitioner. Her non-profit leadership and government relations tenure has been the cornerstone of her solid reputation among clients.

Amanda Carter, Founding Principal and Director of Group Accounts at Charrette Agency is a recognized leader in strategic marketing, branding, and digital media. With a career spanning nearly two decades, Amanda has cultivated a reputation for leading teams and orchestrating impactful campaigns for clients spanning business verticals.
With a talent for clarifying abstract concepts and distilling those concepts into clear, easy-to-implement strategic processes, Amanda has found her niche working to broaden diversity and representation in brand marketing, drawing on her experience in significant roles at major media companies and in sports marketing, traditional media, consumer products, hospitality, and tourism, to help organizations appeal to and align with diverse audiences, authentically.
